Our hearts go out to the many people and businesses that have been impacted by the COVID-19 virus. As the outbreak expands, many individuals and businesses worldwide are experiencing uncertainty and concern.

JJACPA is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and clients. As such, we are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). We want to share with you the actions we are taking and the resources available to help protect our employees and clients.

We’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities' guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, and we’ve reinforced existing JJACPA policy encouraging employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional. We will, for the time being, have our offices closed to in-person client meetings and limit our in-office meetings amongst our staff and strictly use web-conferences, phone-calls, and emails to communicate with you from remote locations. If you need to drop off documents, there is a lockbox at each location and we will have any materials available for pickup at staggered intervals throughout the day upon prior arrangement. Our priorities will be clients with refunds, then for clients that do owe on either Federal or State, we will allow you an option to file returns. For clients that owe on both, we will limit our fees to 50% based upon the ability to pay and not request payment in full until restrictions are lifted and resources are available.  We are still available during business hours Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm, and as always, feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or need help. See our updates page and list of resources for your use as questions arise as provided by the California Chamber of Commerce.

Thank you for keeping our community healthy and safe and for your understanding during these turbulent times.
